This is by far the best vets I have ever come across! I can't recommend them highly enough! They treat both my dogs and have operated on one of them. Ben is a regular Dr Dolittle, he gets the animals and they get him. Millie the receptionist is very compassionate. The whole team are great.

We can’t recommend Madra Vets in Cheltenham enough — they are simply exceptional! Titan always receives the highest standard of care, and it’s so clear that every member of the team genuinely loves what they do. A special mention has to go to Jess, who has been absolutely wonderful. She’s kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Titan clearly adores her, and we always feel reassured knowing he’s in such capable and caring hands. Jess takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and never makes us feel rushed — her passion for animals really shines through. The whole practice is clean and welcoming, and the level of professionalism is second to none. Every visit is a positive experience and Titan is always treated like part of the family. Thank you, Jess, and the entire Madra Vets team, for your dedication and compassion. We wouldn’t trust anyone else — highly, highly recommended! 🐾❤️

An amazing veterinary practice that truly goes above and beyond. I’m a little late writing this review, but I can’t thank the Madra team enough for everything they did for our dog, Po. We’re based in South Wales and adopted Po from a rescue in Gloucester that was using Madra. Jess did an incredible job operating on Po’s eyes, and even after that, we continued to make the four-hour round trip whenever Po had further health concerns and needed her spay. Madra were always so accommodating, caring, and informative. They were also just a phone call away when we couldn’t make the journey, and we were always made to feel that nothing was ever too much trouble. It’s genuinely refreshing to find a veterinary practice that truly cares and listens, rather than treating it purely as a business — something that sadly can’t be said for all vets. From the lovely ladies on reception to both Jess and Ben, the team were always so welcoming and helpful, we couldn’t recommend Madra highly enough.

I simply cannot give enough stars to Jess and the whole team what an amazing breath of fresh air they all are and the care my Toby and myself received was second to none! They genuinely care about each and every pet that they see! Toby adores going in and being made to feel like a superstar. Jess refused to believe that removing my boys eye was the only option and here we are a week later almost completely healed with his eye still firmly in his head …I cannot thank them enough….

The peace of mind I’m given having Madra as my vets is priceless. My two cats have been under the care of Ben and Jess and their amazing team since they were kittens, through the routine and the emergency. On the non routine occasions they’ve been seen almost straight away. I really appreciate how they take the time to explain everything and set out the options for treatment. Also, a big shoutout for Ben’s surgical skills! They are an absolute pleasure to deal with, I recommend them to everybody.

Ben, Jess & the team provide excellent customer service, quality of care & value for money at Madra Vet Clinic in Cheltenham. From the first call & friendly welcome in reception through the professional service to the quality aftercare for our dog Dexter, the Madra team exceeded expectations every step of the way. They even submitted the insurance claim form, only charged us for the excess fee & scheduled a check up to ensure everything was well. So if you’re looking for a friendly, professional, value for money vet, then take a look at Madra.

The best experience at the vets! Madra vets are so caring, patient, and so understanding with pets that are a little nervous of their first visit. I just never encountered such patient and lovely vets and not to mention so caring. They take their time to explain everything, being a routine op to the more complex procedures.
